Supprimer mes Donnees

Madame, Monsieur,

Par la présente, je vous demande, conformément à l’article 17 du Règlement général sur la protection des données (RGPD), de supprimer sans délai toutes les données personnelles me concernant que vous avez enregistrées.

Cela inclut notamment toutes les données liées à ma Famille( Sraieb), à mon utilisation de votre site internet ainsi qu’à toute communication ou donnée contractuelle éventuellement conservée.

Je vous prie de bien vouloir me confirmer par écrit la suppression complète de mes données et de m’indiquer quelles données ont été supprimées. Dans le cas où certaines données seraient soumises à des obligations légales de conservation, je vous remercie de m’en informer en précisant la base légale ainsi que la durée de conservation.

Je vous demande également de restreindre tout traitement de mes données dans le cas où une suppression complète ne serait pas immédiatement possible.

Do you mean that the clan is not mentioned any more for example in the list of contributions of a user and in the new records?
(I had seen that weeks ago for the recent changes but i don't remember if the change had been done at the same time for the contributions list.)

Recycling

Hello Mr. B.
In 2013, i deleted one of my own records and i noticed on the same day that it had been recreated for a completely different person in Ukrainian.
Recently, i realised that it was the same for other former records of the French localisation (some used for different French people) : 193280, 193281, 193284, 193288, 193289, 193291.
Is it ok?

The record was created at:

Maybe it was connected with a bug. If record was created and deleted before next one be created -- the record id will be reused by next creation. If I'm right it was fixed.

The question from my side: if record was deleted -- why somebody should care about record id. For me it is even better -- so no history about deleted record will be saved at all.

The global behavior: In the same way as record should be manually added to every localization - it should be deleted manually from every localization.

Recycling is not a big issue, it's just that it could create "exotic" results when wiewing past edits of a record about a French person and seeing that in these revisions his/her father was a Russian living two centuries before :) -- Dn Gov (d) 22:00, 20 September 2026 (UTC)

Ghost record

Another question about an "exotic" case : from time to time i see an empty record like this one, for which all localisations show a void log (as if it had never existed).
Did Rodovid have a hiccup? Or was the creation of the record stopped before it was completely registered? -- Dn Gov (d) 22:00, 20 September 2026 (UTC)

Rogue categories

User StanMiszkowk informed us in May that Anne Gourdel was listed in the categories Morts_au_champ_de_bataille and Morts_pour_la_France_en_1914-1918 (about people killed in wars) but such categories were never added in her record.
I recently saw that is was the same for Alberic of Narbonne listed in the category Kings_of_Francia.

You were right! I had forgotten that trick but it works fine…
Except that now a strange 3 does appear in Kings_of_Francia.
And after i tried a blank editing of the category, i got a message :

In fact, strange numbers like that now appear in maybe all categories listing pages, but not in categories listing subcategories, like Titles.

A majority of the categories listing genealogical records :
General category "Titles" : almost all detail categories (except Kyiv, Denmark, Norway or blank categories like Leon)
General category "People" : detail categories Nobel Prizes, Saints, Wiki-pages, Attila
General category "People by occupation" : all detail categories
General category "Heads of State" : only Canada, Mexico, U.S. Presidents, U.S. First Ladies
General category "Genealogy" : only Controversial, Lineages, Must be merged, Needs relationships, Need sources, Timeline errors
The categories without genealogical records seem to be unaffected.

Fr Rodovid :
General category "Distinctions" : maybe only Croix de guerre, Toison d'or, Légion_d’honneur, and Morts pour la France (where a number precedes a subcategory)
General category "Titres" : maybe the majority, like Empereurs d'Occident or Princes d'Orange
General category "Enfance" : only Enfants de la Patrie and Pupilles de la Nation
General category "Militaires" : Amiraux de France, Connétables de France…

I logged out and then logged in back with Edge (usual browser).
I accessed the same categories with Google Chrome (both as anonymous user and then logged in with a secondary account).
I reached these pages with Firefox (which i did not use since at least four years).
Same result in these three cases : alien numbers still there :((
(I also tried Seamonkey 2.53.24 (a fork of Firefox) but that browser does not pass your wall against bots.) -- Dn Gov (d) 08:00, 6 October 2026 (UTC)
