Добрий день, шановний,Baya! З цим ресурсом працюю давно. Дуже багато вклав часу і зусиль(на мій погляд) у розвиток свого родоводу на цій платформі. У Вас в планах було створення можливості переносити дані з «Родовід» у Gedcom. Час невпинно спливає, пройшло багато років, але цього ,на жаль, не сталось. Прогрес на місці не стоїть , з‘явились люди з далекої родини, що створили родоводи на інших генеалогічних сайтах, з більшим функціоналом. Є бажання об‘єднати, але немає такої можливості. Готовий заплатити за перенесення своїх всіх даних в Gedcom. Напевно , знайдеться ще немало таких,як я , це зробити! Чи є імовірність , що Ваша команда таки зробить крок на зустріч? Що для цього потрібно? З повагою, Форнальчик Ігор.

On German Rodovid, user MmAaRrIiAa created in 2017 a few dozens of completely invented records.
User CharlesF marked them all on 7 August with the warning "Zu löschen / To delete". But the German admins are inactive since years. Because I learned German, if you give me sysop rights, I could delete these records (and change one or two system messages). Dn Gov (d) 01:00, 9 August 2024 (EEST)

User Mirmax send an e-mail in Ukrainian saying he had noticed a small bug :
When working on a record and adding for example parents, if he clicks on the tag "hypothesis" (in order to specify that the filiation is not sure), the tag is not added when the new record is created and he has to modify the page later to add the precision.
I confirmed the facts : i created a page labelled with the tag "hypothesis", but the precision did not appear. The line of comment for the creation of the page does include the ":y" tag (<children>1580765:y</children>) but the xml code of the record does not (<children>1580765</children>). Maybe it is linked with the problem of colon that you solved on 4 December 2023.

Під час роботи над записом і додавання, наприклад, батьків, якщо він натискає на тег «гіпотеза» (щоб вказати, що походження не впевнене), тег не додається під час створення нового запису, і йому потрібно змінити сторінку пізніше, щоб додати точність.

Я підтвердив факти: я створив сторінку з тегом "гіпотеза", але точність не з'явилася. Рядок коментаря для створення сторінки містить тег «:y» (<children>1580765:y</children>), але код xml запису не містить (<children>1580765</children>).

Можливо, це пов’язано з проблемою двокрапки, яку ви вирішили 4 грудня 2023 року.

I don't understand what Rs is doing sometimes in the Ukrainian localisation. Rimsky-Korsakoff said on her talk page that Rs was again using places with the precision "Gorod" in dozens of pages like this one or here and there, with editing disputes on pages like this one.

• I think different people initiated that pages. In Ukrainian there are no difference between these forms.
  On the one hand I agree with Rs that his variant is more melodical and for me beautiful. But on the other hand from technical reason I suggest do not use extra words in the places names. France is France. Kyiv is Kyiv. The question is how to show that at some time people admire it in different ways - realm, country, republic or village, town, city, megapolis. That would be a rational system, in the months / years to come.

Maybe a detail could also be changed in full trees, if you have some time. On these pages, pointing on a person displays extra details but not the clan/lineage. And in large trees, especially for noble families, it is not always easy to go to the bottom of the page in order to identify the lineage by color.

There is a couple (?) idiots in this world. So they send up to 10M requests per day. I'm not ready to pay for this. Last 4 months it costs $250 per month. So I blocked them by ip. Now they started to use bot-nets - dozens thousands ips that do by one request. So I bloked them by domain. I'm currently working for moving servers to latest OS version - I hope I finish it to the end of next week. After this - I'll add human check. • Hi. It was a disaster. I have the special domain/instance of RD (x.rodovid.org) - the full absolutely independent copy of the engine localisation (with the separate database that carries all tables). In this localisation I do all developing/testing (including upgrades). I upgraded it, tested it. It worked. I tried to update the engine. After the update it was impossible to login to the engine. And because all localisations have the same users - it was impossible to login everywhere. So I rolledbacked. I'm sorry. I was too confident. I do backups before and after updates. In this case ... • Hi, here is a usage of two RD servers. orange (t2.medium) - is main server (that does not run any php scripts). blue (c4.large) - the php backend - the executor. When the blue line is 100% it is high probability to get 502 error. Yet one blue server will cost ~$50 per month just for computational resources. Plus traffic. After addition with high probability (~70-80%) it will be required to enlarge the main server - yet plus ~$25. But unfortunately it will not help - bots will fill it in couple days. I tested it year ago - I allowed to run up to 10 blue servers (plus bigger the main one). In peaks (now we have very long peak) - bots load all 10 servers approx to 90%. --Baya 10:45, 9 February 2026 (EET)
