The purpose of this section of Rodovid is to discuss the development of the Rodovid Engine, which generates family trees on Rodovid;
suggest enhancements and new features; and, of course,
do tests and try-outs with genealogical records about both real and nonexistent people.
Choose your option to start:

• test the functionality of Rodovid Engine
• read or write documentation for the project
• request a feature
• report a bug
• ask a question about the project
• request Rodovid in a new language
• discuss with the rest of the Rodovid international community

There are several special pages, created for usefulness in Genealogy.
They can be accessed from the Special pages menu in every localization.
The following are quick links to them:

• Last changed persons
• Grouping by last names,
• Grouping by the year of birth.

In Engine, as opposed to the localizations, you can add persons and families without any restrictions, checks and verifications -
study how it works!

There are several different examples of the way family trees can be created:

• Ancestors:

  Willem-Alexander van Oranje Nassau,

  english: James Bethell b. 18 June 1996 - Full Tree,

  William Windsor.

• Descendants:

  Pippin III the Short,

  Yaroslav the Wise.

• Fictional examples:

  Balbo Baggins - Imported from the ring.ged file.... — this is just an example at Engine for testing.

  Don't put jokes or other unreal data in the real database.
